Well, I had a great time at Big Wow Comic Con!  I didn't go for the press badge this time, as I was told I'd be able to pick them up at the show but apparently you had to get them online ahead of time and by the time I saw that it was closed.......Oh well, I still had fun and got some great shots of some cosplay people :)  I'll be uploading my favorites soon.  Still spending most of my available energy these days job hunting...(sigh)... My class finishes up tonight though.  I think I've picked up some good photo editing tips and techniques.  Not sure I will take another class or just go for some self taught online videos. So I signed up today to attend Big Wow Comic Con in San Jose in May this year :)  It's a smaller con than the "official" Comic Con in San Diego (which I've also been to twice), but it looks pretty cool in its own right. Hoping to be able to do some photography of the cosplayers and attendees.  I fired off an email to the con staff to ask about potentially doing numbered sets for people to email me about for prints later, so fingers crossed that is within the rules for this particular con. Either way, it should be a fun time and even if I couldn't sell the prints, hopefully I can at least take my camera to shoot for the experience :D

Well I have finally done it.  I have finally made a journal entry. Though actually that wasn't what I was going to refer to initially.  This post is actually suppose to be because, after about a year of using my cameras photo editing software, I have finally pushed myself to start learning the Photoshop (which is much better pretty much everything as I'm now finding).  Currently I am scheduled to take a class in photo editing at my local community college starting in late March.  Hopefully my employment situation will be set by then so I can actually take it :) I've been enjoying my new lens.  Think it was the right call to get the 35mm len
